The WorkingTOGETHER Learning Project
A Special Public Service from EvolvingSUCCESS
|
Working together is difficult to do because human beings have deep ambivalence about being
around each other. This is perfectly natural. Some might think it politically incorrect to
characterize people as inherently violent, paranoid, and lazy, but our natural history as
animals shows this to be the case.
On the other hand, if we wish to call human beings Animals 2.0, we
can do so because we can add the ability to think to this combination of traits. Animals
CAN work together without the ability to think, but collaboration becomes much more
effective if a little thinking brain power is added to the mix.
The WorkingTogether Learning Project is designed not merely to foster the use of
collaboration where ever groups of people have to get things done. The Learning Project is
being built to describe the natural barriers to effective collaboration, and offer strategies
for taking these into account. By understanding Animals 2.0 more fully, those of us
who form teams and lead teams can get better value from the team's collaborative efforts.
Below you will find an ever-developing library of programs in the MP3 format about various
aspects of collaboration for your listening pleasure and edification. They will run roughly
three to four minutes unless otherwise noted.
Where your browser indicates a link, that is a topic ready for download. Please download
as often as you wish. Please email them to everyone you know. Please leave all credits to
EvolvingSuccess, Tom Meylan, Gene Allen, and any of the other collaborators who
appear in the programs in place as you share these MP3s.
All the best!

The Table of Contents of
The WorkingTOGETHER Learning Project
The contents for this learning project evolve as events, suggestions, and our research
direct. Not all items in this contents list are completed. These items are there to remind us
of where we left off. Where there is an obvious hot link, please feel free to download the MP3 file
(using the "Save Target As..." function), and
share it as you see fit. We will post new downloads to fill in the rest of the plan as they
become available. Program runtime is roughly 3.5 minutes unless noted.
